托福獨(dú)立口語(yǔ)必備--How to Relax

為了幫助大家更好地備考托?？谡Z(yǔ)，留學(xué)監(jiān)理網(wǎng)的老師特意為大家設(shè)計(jì)了“托福獨(dú)立口語(yǔ)必備”專欄，希望可以讓大家在獨(dú)立口語(yǔ)的部分得到最高的分?jǐn)?shù)。那么，我們今天的主題是How to Relax。

我們來(lái)看以下幾個(gè)題目：

What do you do in your spare time?

Describe an enjoyable event in your childhood.

Do you think the high school should teach music and art as other basic science? Include details and examples to support your opinion.  

Some people prefer to eat out. Others prefer home cooked meals with their family. Which of these types of meal do you prefer? Use specific examples and details for your preference.  

What are the benefits of owning pets?

以上的幾個(gè)題目看似沒(méi)有關(guān)聯(lián)，但其實(shí)我們發(fā)現(xiàn)這些都與relax--放松有關(guān)，所以我們可以把這些考題歸為一類。接下來(lái)，大家就一起跟著留學(xué)監(jiān)理網(wǎng)的老師來(lái)學(xué)習(xí)一下如何理清自己的解題思路吧。

今天，我們選取的例題是--Do you think the high school should teach music and art as other basic science? Include details and examples to support your opinion.  

首先，我們先來(lái)進(jìn)行頭腦風(fēng)暴--brain storm，看看學(xué)校開(kāi)設(shè)音樂(lè)和美術(shù)課程的原因有哪些。

音樂(lè)和美術(shù)的學(xué)習(xí)可以讓孩子鍛煉形象思維，所以學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)音樂(lè)和美術(shù)的孩子更有想象力和創(chuàng)造力；(creative, imaginative)

學(xué)習(xí)音樂(lè)和美術(shù)的孩子會(huì)有更多的才華和才藝，同時(shí)還有很好的品味；(talens, talented, good taste, aesthetic)

小時(shí)候?qū)W習(xí)音樂(lè)和美術(shù)的孩子在長(zhǎng)大以后可以通過(guò)藝術(shù)更好地放松自己；(relax, release the pressure)

接下來(lái)，我們就來(lái)根據(jù)剛才brain storm的結(jié)果來(lái)寫一個(gè)提綱：

good for the children’s personal development:

make children creative and imaginative

make them concentrate

abetter academic performance

good for their future:

know how to relax

hobbies and interests

release the pressure

good aesthetic

最后，我們?cè)俳o大家提供一個(gè)參考答案，希望可以對(duì)大家起到拋磚引玉的效果。

Sample Response:

I advocate that the high school should provide courses like music and art.

Firstly, music and art are very good ways of education for the kids to have a better personal development and academic performance. As we all know, music and art can make children creative and imaginative. That’s why we say music and art make them clever and benefit their academic performance.

Secondly, music and art education also benefit the children’s future. They’ll encounter a lot of pressure from their work, peers and the society. Knowing how to release pressure is very important. If they learned music and art when they were young, they could sing, play an instrument or draw to keep away from pressure, find the inner peace and be happy.

Music and art are very imprtant for the children’s development and have a positive influence on their adulthood. As a conclusion, I think the high school sould teach them music and art.
