Harvard accepts both the current SAT and the redesigned SAT and will accept both tests for the foreseeable future. You should submit scores from tests taken in the past three years.

Both versions of the test will be treated equally in the admission process.

If you take both the existing SAT and revised SAT, we will utilize your highest score for your application review (using comparative data provided by the College Board) The optional writing section in the revised SAT will not be required

If you will be submitting ‘old’ SAT scores as well as scores from the redesigned test, we will look at both individually but cannot superscore between them.

We will superscore results from the same version of the exam, but we will not mix scores from the two versions.
