The College of Applied Behavioral Sciences is home to both traditional and innovative accredited programs in the behavioral sciences and mental health. The college programs offered are in social work, mental health counseling and psychology. Applied behavioral sciences programs focus on understanding human behavior in contextual environments, human diversity, social welfare policies and services, research and scientific principles. Graduate programs in the college provide clinical applications of behavioral sciences through practicum and internship, and undergraduate programs include applied learning experiences.

The Psychology BA/MA 4+1 program allows students to complete the requirements for both a bachelor's and master's degree in psychology in five years. This is a non-license eligible master's degree designed to prepare students for doctoral work or to make students more competitive for jobs after graduation. For high-achieving students, we offer the following options to guarantee admission or accelerate your path to earning a master's degree in psychology.

Students must have official high school graduation documents and transcripts. Academic transcript issued in English issued by the institution attended AND Examination results (Huikao or Xueye Shuiping Ceshi) verified by one of the following Ministry of Education-designated verification agencies: 1). China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center (CDGDC); 2). China Higher Education Student Information & Career Center (CHESICC). TOEFL - 61 IBT required, IELTS - 5.5 required, PTEA - 49 required.
