For those who want to build a career in global business the International Business programme offers a great base. Students will acquire both generic and specialized skills needed in expert and managerial positions as well as entrepreneurs.

The core of the BBA studies consists of developing the business, becoming able to analyze business data and provide solutions, innovating and implementing digital solutions, and facilitating knowledge for strategic decisions.

The specialisation majors offered are 2 – 4 of the following, according to the students’ majority choices:

Customer Relationship Management and Communication
Entrepreneurship
Financial Management
Human Resource Management
Supply Chain Management.

Language and communication studies (25 cr) support the growth to an efficient communicator and networker. The students’ intercultural team working skills are developed with the variety of learning approaches, for example, project work together with companies and PBL (problem and project based learning). Career plans with service and sales orientation are strongly supported. All students are encouraged to include an exchange semester or work placement abroad in their degree; this is compulsory for Finnish students.

Applicants must have completed upper secondary level school education in English. IELTS score academic level 6.0 or TOEFL score 550 paper-based test/ 79-80 internet -based test or Pearson test of English (Academic 51) or Cambridge ESOL's Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) CEFR level C1 or Cambridge ESOL's Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) CEFR level C1 or skills level 4 in English in all parts (English communicative oral skills, reading comprehension and writing) in the Finnish National Certificate of Language Proficiency.
